Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 September 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

Using GoInRemote means accepting what is written here. If you are using it for a company, you are confirming that you may accept these terms on that company's behalf.

2. Who may use it

  • You must be at least 16 and old enough to work where you live
  • One person, one account. Do not share a login or pretend to be someone else
  • Employer accounts must represent a real organisation that is genuinely hiring

3. Candidate accounts

  • Browsing every listing is free and needs no account
  • An account is free, and so is the application tracker. There is nothing to pay as a candidate
  • Some employers take applications here, with your CV and answers going straight to them. Others send you to their own site: there we ask afterwards whether you finished, and record it only if you say yes, so your tracker counts real applications rather than clicks
  • Applying for a job needs a free account, so every application you make appears in your tracker and employers can contact you through it
  • Your profile is private until you make it public, and you can make it private again at any time
  • Your phone number is never shown to employers. Your email is shown only to Enterprise subscribers, and only if you switch that on
  • What you put in your profile must be true and yours to share

4. Employer accounts and plans

  • Starter, €230 a month: 3 live jobs, listings visible 30 days, a single login. Candidate names stay hidden, CVs cannot be downloaded, and applications go to your own careers page rather than being collected here
  • Pro, €499 a month: 10 live jobs, 30 days visibility, 2 logins, 200 candidate profile views a month with the surname hidden, and 50 CV downloads a month. Pro does not include score matching or candidate contact details
  • Enterprise, €999 a month: 25 live jobs, listings visible 30 days, 4 logins, unlimited browsing of candidates, 2,000 full profile views and 2,000 CV downloads a month, full candidate names, score matching, and candidate contact details where the candidate has agreed to share them

A live job occupies a slot, whether it was posted or reopened; closing one frees it, and the limit applies the same way to both. On Pro and Enterprise a team seat needs a company email address on the same domain as the account owner, not a personal mailbox, and your company website must be on that domain too. That is how we keep one company from posting as another. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where it is due.

5. Billing

  • Subscriptions are monthly, charged in advance, and renew until cancelled
  • Payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your card details
  • Cancel whenever you like. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for
  • We do not refund part-months, though if something on our side went wrong, contact us and we will put it right
  • Card details are handled by Stripe. Where tax is due it is calculated at checkout from your billing address, and a validated business VAT number is applied where the law allows
  • Prices can change, but not for a period already paid, and not without notice

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we do not close your account on the first attempt. A card usually fails because it expired or a bank declined it once, not because a company has stopped paying, so there is a grace period:

  • Your subscription is marked past due, and we email the account owner
  • Stripe then retries the payment over the following days, on its own retry schedule
  • Throughout that grace period your account stays open and your listings stay live
  • If the retries run out, the subscription is suspended: posting stops and your live listings are closed

Suspension deletes nothing. Your company profile, your listings, your applicants and your history are all kept. Updating the card at any point during the grace period ends it immediately and nothing is closed. If listings were already closed, paying reopens the account but not the listings themselves: you reopen the ones you still want from your dashboard, up to your plan's slots. The same is true of cancelling — access runs to the end of the period you paid for, and when it ends your live listings are closed.

7. What you may not post

  • Jobs that do not exist, or listings placed to harvest CVs
  • Anything asking a candidate to pay for work, training or equipment to be hired
  • Pyramid schemes, chain recruitment, or anything unlawful
  • Discriminatory requirements on race, sex, age, religion, disability, or anything else protected where you hire
  • Agency listings presented as a direct employer
  • Someone else's brand, logo or content used as your own
  • Malware, scraping, or automated collection of candidate data

We can remove a listing or close an account that breaks this, and for serious cases we will do so without notice and without a refund.

8. Candidate data you receive

A CV or profile you obtain here may be used to consider that person for the role you advertised, and nothing else. You may not add them to a marketing list, sell or pass their details on, or keep their data longer than your own hiring process needs. You are the controller of what you download, and your own obligations under data protection law apply to it.

9. What we do not promise

  • We are a place to meet, not a party to your hiring. We do not promise a job, a hire, or any number of applicants
  • We do not vet every employer or every candidate. Judge for yourself, and be wary of anyone asking for money or bank details
  • Some listings are not posted by an employer here at all. They are imported from a job-advertising partner, marked Imported listing, and applying to one takes you to the original advertiser's site. We did not write them, we cannot vouch for them, and we have no account or applicant history for them
  • The salary calculator is an estimate from simplified rules. It is not tax advice, and it will not match your payslip exactly
  • We aim to keep the service up but cannot promise it is never interrupted

10. Your content

What you upload stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store it, and to show it to the people you meant it for, candidates in the case of a listing, employers in the case of a public profile. Delete it and that permission ends, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation. The site itself, its design and its code remain ours.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost opportunity arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

12. Ending it

You may close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would help somebody continue the abuse. Sections that make sense to survive, such as liability and your obligations over candidate data, do survive.

13. Reporting a listing

If you find a listing that is fake, a scam, discriminatory or otherwise breaks section 7, tell us through the contact page with the link to it. We look at every report, and we will take a listing down where it breaks these terms or the law. Tell us how to reach you and we will let you know what we decided. Where a listing was imported from a partner we will remove it here, though the original advertiser is the one who can remove it at source.

14. How the contract is made, and the law it sits under

A subscription is agreed electronically: you choose a plan, pay through Stripe's checkout, and the contract exists once that payment is confirmed and we email you the receipt. The contract is in English, and your invoices stay available in the billing portal linked from your dashboard. Correct any mistake before you confirm payment, on the checkout page itself.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of Spain, except that a consumer keeps whatever protection and whichever courts their own country's law gives them. We would much rather sort a problem out directly first, so please write to us before anything else.

15. Changes and contact

If these terms change we will update the date above and tell account holders by email before anything material takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version. Anything unclear here, ask us through the contact page.
